Successful Start to the New Year for Tennis Academy Burgenland

The new year has started successfully for the Tennis Academy Burgenland. From January 17th to 23rd, the ITF J60 tournament “Burgenland Juniors” took place in Oberpullendorf, where three players from the academy were part of the main event. Thilo Behrmann, Jan Hemetzberger, and Flora Farkaslaki Hints showed their skills.

A week later, the ITF J30 tournament under the name “Sporthotel Kurz Open” also took place on the grounds of the Tennis Academy Burgenland. Hemetzberger, Neubauer, and Behrmann represented the academy among the boys, while Lola Feher and Flora Farkaslaki Hints competed in the women’s category. Flora reached the quarter-finals in singles and was able to defeat the Slovenian-Austrian duo Ribnikar/Stark with 3:6, 6:4, 11:9 in the doubles along with her partner Carlota Garcia Alonso, securing the title at J30 Oberpullendorf.

Finally, Constantin Neubauer was crowned the state champion in the U16 competition at the BTV youth indoor state championships in Oslip. He won all three of his appearances without losing a game.

Overall, the Tennis Academy Burgenland showed a strong performance at the ITF tournaments and state championships and had a successful start to the new year.
