The academy players of Tennisakademie Burgenland achieved impressive success at this year’s BMTC Open 2023. Thilo Behrmann, Constantin Neubauer, and Jan Hemetzberger, three talented academy players, showcased their skills at the U16 Tennis Europe tournament in Mödling, delivering impressive performances that thrilled the audience. It was a tournament filled with excitement, drama, and outstanding athletic achievements!
In the singles competition, the three players displayed exceptional performances, battling their way to the semifinals. Thilo Behrmann impressed with a remarkable display, defeating his teammate Jan Hemetzberger with an impressive 6-0, 6-2 to secure a spot in the final. In the final, he faced the talented Ukrainian player Heorii Shylov. However, Thilo Behrmann remained undeterred and once again showcased his skills. With a commanding 6-3, 7-5 victory, he claimed the well-deserved title!
But that’s not all! The trio from Tennisakademie Burgenland also excelled in the doubles competition. Thilo Behrmann and Constantin Neubauer formed an unbeatable duo, while Jan Hemetzberger teamed up with Gabriel Niedermayr, who will be training at Tennisakademie Burgenland starting in September. The doubles final promised high tension from the start as our talented academy players faced each other. It turned into a hard-fought match that captivated the spectators. In the end, Thilo Behrmann and Constantin Neubauer prevailed, securing an impressive 6-1, 6-7, 10-5 victory.

A remarkable success for Constantin Neubauer from Tennisakademie Burgenland! Alongside his Italian doubles partner Fabio Leonardi, he secured the doubles tournament victory at the J60 ITF-Tournament U18 in Windhoek, Namibia.
The final was characterized by a dominant performance from the Austrian-Italian duo. Constantin and Fabio triumphed with an impressive 6-1, 6-3 victory over their opponents Gilon and Zarebski. Their strong teamwork, precision, and fighting spirit were key to this convincing win.

An exceptional achievement for Henri Mayer, a member of Tennisakademie Burgenland since the beginning of the year! At the prestigious Fürstenfeld Youth Indoor Kat.2 Tournament, Henri showcased his talent and hard work, fighting his way to the final. In an exciting and close match, he ultimately fell to the top-seeded Ricky Kletter with a score of 7-5, 7-6.
